Start your Bulgarian company

Tell us about the company you want to form. Our lawyers prepare and review every document, then file it with the Bulgarian Commercial Register — you handle only the notary signature and the bank capital step in person. Takes about 5 minutes.

What type of company?

The two most common Bulgarian limited-liability forms. Not sure? Pick the closest — we'll confirm the optimal structure during review.

Company details

Bulgarian company names must be unique in the Commercial Register. Give us a first choice and a backup in case your preferred name is taken.

The city where the company is registered. If you don't have a Bulgarian address yet, we can advise on a registered-office solution.

Share capital

The legal minimum for an EOOD/OOD is just BGN 2. Many founders declare a higher figure for credibility with banks and partners.

BGN
For capital up to a few thousand BGN, founders can usually file a capital declaration instead of opening a blocked bank account. We confirm the right route during review.

Founders & management

Who will own and manage the company? Add each founder. For an EOOD there is a single owner.

The manager may be one of the founders or an external person. At least one manager is required.
e.g. financial services, crypto/CASP, payment, gambling, insurance, medical.
Your matter needs a lawyer's hand — non-EU founders and regulated activities have extra steps (document legalisation, licensing, enhanced bank checks). No problem: we'll still take your details now and a YARD lawyer will guide you personally from here.

Your details & review

Where should we send your draft documents and questions? Please check the summary before submitting.

Thank you — we've got your details

A YARD Law lawyer will review your information and email you within one business day with next steps, a fixed-fee quote, and the documents we'll prepare.

Reminder: you'll complete the notary signature specimen and the bank capital step in person — we'll send clear instructions for both. We then file with the Commercial Register on your behalf.

This intake form collects information so our lawyers can prepare your documents; it does not itself create a company or constitute legal advice, and submitting it does not form a lawyer–client relationship until we confirm engagement. Documents are prepared and reviewed by a lawyer admitted to the Sofia Bar before delivery. Company formation requires identity verification (KYC/AML) and, in most cases, an in-person notary signature specimen and a bank capital step.
